Ingredients of recipe of Baingan Tikka

For Baingan Tikka

  • Baingan  – 300 gram
  • Onion – 2 pieces (big)
  • Capsicum (green) – 2 pieces
  • Tomato – 1 to 2 pieces
  • Curd – 3 tbps
  • Flour – 2 tbps
  • Red chilli powder – ¼ tbps
  • Salt – as per tasete ( ¼ tbps)
  • Garam masala – 1 pinch
  • Butter – 3 to 5 tbps

Step 1)

Take Baingan , cut it in 1/1 inch Baingan  cubes (thick chunks). Take onion, tomato, capsicum and cut it in 1/1 inch pieces for making Baingan Tikka.

Step 2)

Now take curd in bowl and put flour, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala and salt. Mix all ingredients very well. Put all Baingan , onion, tomato, capcisum pieces in curd. Coat all pieces very well and put it in refrigerator for 20 to 25 minutes.

Step 3)

After that we roast these pieces. Take roasted pan put butter in pan and allow to heat it. Take one by one Baingan , onion, tomato, capcicum pieces and place it in stick. Put these in pan and roast it form all side it become golden brown in colour. cook this on low heat for 2 to 5 min until cook properly. After that turn of gas and place Baingan Tikk in plate.

Add green coriander and Dry fenugreek leaves and mix it well. Baingan Tikka is ready. Serve it hot.
