Ingredients of recipe of Paneer Methi
- Paneer – 10 to 15 small pieces (250 gram )
- Methi (green/raw) – 100 gram
- Tomato – 2 to 3 pieces
- Green chilli – 2 to 3 pieces
- Green coriander – 2 to 3 tbps (properly chopped)
- Ginger paste – ½ tbps
- Garlic paste – ½ tbps
- Oil – 4 to 5 tbps
- Cumin seeds – ¼ tbps
- Mustard seeds – ¼ tbps
- Asafetida – ¼ tbps
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tbps
- Coriander powder – 1 tbps
- Red chili powder – 1 tbps
- Garam masala – ¼ tbps
- Salt – ¾ tbps (as per taste )
Making of recipe of Paneer Methi
Take all methi and wash it and chopped it properly. Take green chili, tomato wash it and make fine paste from that. Take a pan add 1 tbps ghee in pan and allow to heat it. add all paneer pieces and fry little bit on low for 2 to 50 min. turn of gas and put it aside.
Take a pan add oil in pan allow to heat it. Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, asafetida and tamper it properly. Now add chopped methi, tomato paste, ginger and garlic paste etc. Mix it and fry this properly for 5 to 8 min on low flam. When oil is floating on top of pan add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala, salt etc. Mix all properly and cook for 3 to 5 min on low flam.
Now add fry paneer mix all properly and add some water as you required. Boiled it for 2 to 4 min on low flam. Now Paneer Methi is ready. Turn of gas and garnish with green coriander. Serve this with chapatti or paratha etc.
