Recipe of Sandesh | sandesh making | sandesh |. Sandesh in Bengali traditional dish it is made with fresh chena . the chena can be prepared with any kind of flavour . it is also made with sallron and cardamom only .
Ingredients of recipe of Sandesh Mishti
- Saffron – 25 to 30 threads
- Full cream milk – 2 liter
- Cardamom – 10
- Powdered sugar – 2/3 cup (100 grams)
- Pistachios – 10 to 15
- Lemon – 4
Making of recipe of sandesh
Step 1 of Recipe of Sandesh

Take a bowl of heavy base and allow in it for boiling . pour milk in the bowl and start boiling the milk than when milk boil turn off the flam and take of the bowl and allow the milk to cool down a bit . than take lemon and mix some water in lemon to dilute the lemon juice than when milk cool down than pour lemon juice and keep stirring the juice than after some time the milk and chena will separates than stop adding the lemon juice into it than take a cloth and strain chena so all water can be separated than add cold water so all the flavour of lemon in chena can be separated.
Step 2 of Recipe of Sandesh
Than take cloth from all side and press it gently so that excess water can be drains out. Your chena is ready for making sandesh than take a plate and mash the chena for 5 minutes to 6 minutes until it become smooth than take cardamom and make powder of it . tinly chop pistachios . now mix saffron and powdered sugar in chena and mix 2 to 3 minutes now roast chena on non stick pan on low flame for 2 to 3 minutes .
Step 3 of Recipe of Sandesh
Now take chena in plate and cool down it than mix cardamom powder in it . Take small lump from the mixture, roll and then flatten gently. Now make oval shape peda and place it over place . now garnish chopped pistachios.
