Recipe of Rumali Roti
Rumali roti is prepare form whole wheat or maida and cook it on inverted kadai or convex side of wok. It has amazing taste and it serve this with black dal or dal makhni ,butter chicken, chole masala etc.
(Prep time- 15 to 30 minutes
Cooking time – 20 to 30 minutes
Level of cooking – medium

Serve – 12 to 20 pieces)

- Flour (whole wheat / atta) – 3 cup (150 gram)
- Refined flour ( madia) -1 cup ( 50 gram)
- Salt – as per taste ( ¼ tbps)
- Water – as per required
- Flour (whole wheat) – for dusting in making

Than add water in flour slowly in little little quantity as per required in making soft dough. Make a soft dough form this mixture. Cover the dough with napkin (damp cloth). Allow to rest the dough with 30 to 45 minutes. After that dough should be knead well again and again.

Take dough and divide it into 15 to 20 piece. Than shape them into all the piece in round balls. Take chakla (wooden stand for making roti) and roll out each ball into small round on chakla with the help of flour. Than Take this on your plam and circle it and swing it, all this in anticlock wise direction. Then again catch it on the back of splam of the same hand. Than Repeat this process until the diameter in same and become in thirty centimeters.

In this process care should be taken in maintaing round shape. Make sure even thickness in thoughout making rumali roti.
Take convex side of wok for cooking this rumali roti. Put roti on the wok for just a minutes. Allow it to cook form both side. Than take roti and folded it in quarters manner. Make all the roti in same manner. Serve hot roti with any vegetable.
