- Small potatoes – 15 to 20
- Onion – 1 to 2 piece (medium)
- Tomato – 2 piece (medium)
- Green chillies – 3 to 4 piece
- Gartic paste -1/2 tbps
- Curd – 1 cup
- Oil – 4 to 5tbps
- Asafoetida – 2 pinch
- Cumin seeds – ½ tbps
- Mustard seed – ½ tbps
- Kashmiri red chilli powder – 2 tbps
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tbps
- Coriander powder – 1 ½ tbps
- Garam powder – 1 tbps
- Sugar – ½ tbps
- Salt – as per taste
- Green cardamom – 4 piece (in powder form)
- Clove – 3 piece (in powder form)
- Ginger powder – 1 tbps
- Fennel powder – 1 tbps
- Green coriander – 1 tbps

Step1 of Recipe of Kashmiri Dam Aloo
Recipe of Kashmiri Dam Aloo | dam aloo recipe in hindi | dam aloo making . Take small potatoes and wash it. Use cooker place aloo in cooker for bolwing. Take one whistle and allow. Make sure that potatoes should remain half cooked.we do not over potatoes. After this when all the steam escapes, we take out potatoes form cooker and allow to cool it. Than we peel potatoes, and prick all the potatoes form all side. Make onion, tomato, and green chilli, paste.
Step2 of Recipe of Kashmiri Dam Aloo
Take a pan (big) and put oil in it, and allow to heat it. Than put all potatoes in oil and fry it on medium flam, when potatoes become golden brown in colour, take out potatoes form oil and put it on plate, keep aside.
Step3 of Recipe of Kashmiri Dam Aloo
Take a pan, put 4 tbps oil in pan and allow to heat it. Add cumin seed, mustard seed, and asafoetoda in oil and tamper it. Put tomato paste and ginger and garlic paste. Allow it fry 2 to 4 minutes until oil float on top of the paste. Add coriander powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and mix, fry it. Now Add whisked curd. Add salt and sugar in paste. Stir them all constantly. Now add fennel powder, clove powder, cardamom powder. Mix all the masala really well, Cook for 2 minutes. Now we add fry potatoes, coast the potatoes with masala nicely. Cover the pan and it for 5 minutes on low flame. After that potatoes absorb all the spices. Turn off the gas. Now Kashmiri dam aloo is ready.

Take sabzi in bowl and garnish with green coriander. Serve it hot with chapatti etc.
