Ingredient of recipe of Dal Makhani
- Black Urad dal (whole/ sabut) – 150 gram ( 1 cup)
- Black Rajma – 50 gram ( ¼ cup)
- Baking soda – ¼ tbps
- Onion – 1 to 2 piece
- Ginger paste – ½ tbps
- Garlic paste – 1 tbps
- Tomato – 3 to 4
- Green chilli – 3 to 4
- Oil – 2 to 4 tbps
- Butter ( desi ghee) – 3 to 4 tbps
- Cumin seeds – ½ tbps
- Heeng – ¼ tbps
- Red chilli powder – 1 ½ tbps
- Coriander powder – 1 tbps
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tbps
- Garam masala – 1 tbps
- Salt – as per taste ( 1 tbps)
- Cream or (malai ) – 2 to 4 tbps
- Coriander leaves – ½ tbps (finely chopped)
Making of recipe of Dal Makhani
Step1 of Recipe of Dal Makhani
Recipe of Dal Makhani | recipe of dal makhani in hindi and english |. Take a bowl put urad dal and rajma and wash it. Soak urad dal and rajma for 8 to 10 hours in water. After soaking strain the water form dal and it again and take cooker. Put wash dal and rajma in cooker and add baking soda, some water (3 glass ) in cooker. Add some salt in water close the lid of cooker. Water in cooker should be three time in qantites of dal. Turn on gas put cooker on gas and take 2 whistle on high flam and 2 whistle on low flam. Than turn of the gas and allow all pressure in cooker.

Take onion, tomato and green chilli and wash it. Put all of them mixer and make fine paste. Put out paste in bowl and add ginger paste, garlic paste and mix it.
Step 3 of Recipe of Dal Makhani
Take a pan put oil in pan and allow it to heat. Add cumin seed and heeng in heat oil and tamper it. Now add turmeric powder, coriander powder, and red chilli powder in oil and roast it on low flam. After this add all tomato paste with ginger and garlic paste in masala. Add garam masala in paste and mix it well. Roast all mixture until oil float on top of the mixture.
Step 4 of Recipe of Dal Makhani
Mix dal and rajma into roasted masala and add water and salt as required in them to make thick curry and mix it well. Once the water start boiled put gas on low flam and cook dal for 5 to 8 minutes. Than add the cream in dal and mix it well.
Turn of the gas and put coriander leave in dal. Dal is ready to serve. Serve it with rice or naan or chapati etc.
