Recipe of Baigan Bharta . Baingan ka bharta is very delicious veg dish among all veg dishes. It made from eggplant (baingan) capsicum, tomato, green chilli, green coriander, ginger paste, garlic paste and many spices etc. so we start to make baingan ka bharta.

Ingredients of recipe of baingan bharta

  • Baingan (eggplants) – 1 big (500 gram)
  • Capsicum – 2 pieces (small)
  • Tomato – 2 to 4 pieces
  • Green chilli – 2 to 3 pieces (finely chopped )
  • Green coriander – 4 to 5 tbps (finely chopped )
  • Ginger paste – 1 tbps
  • Garlic paste – 1 tbps
  • Oil – 3 tbps
  • Red chilli powder – 1 tbps
  • Coriander powder – 1 tbps
  • Turmeric powder – ¼ tbps
  • Garam masala – ¼ tbps
  • Dry mango powder – ¼ tbps
  • Salt – 1 tbps ( as per taste)
  • Mustard seeds – ¼ tbps
  • Cumin seeds – ¼ tbps
  • Asafoetida – ¼ tbps

Step 1) of Recipe of Baigan Bharta = Roasting

Recipe of Baigan Bharta | baingan bharta in hindi | baingan bharta making |. Take a baingan or eggplant and wash it properly. Now turn on gas on low flam put eggplant on flame and roast it properly for 5 to 10 min. when skin of eggplant turn black and it become roast properly than turn of gas, take it and put on plate. Allow to cool down properly. Peel skin of eggplant. Cut and Chopped it properly.

Take tomato, capsicum, green chilli wash it and chopped it properly.

Step 2) of Recipe of Baigan Bharta

Take a pan put some oil in pan and allow to heat it. when oil is heat properly put cumin seeds, mustard seeds, asafetida and it tamper it properly. Add capsicum, green chilli and fry for 1 to 2 min. Now add turmeric powder and salt, mix it properly.

Step 3) of Recipe of Baigan Bharta

Add ginger and garlic paste and mix it properly. Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala, tomato and 2 tbps water etc. and mix it properly. Fry it for 2 to 3 min untill oil is start separating from it. Now add chopped eggplant in gravy and mix it properly. Turn low flam and cook it for 5 to 8 min. after that turn off gas. Add green coriander.

Baingan bharta is ready for serve.
